Disclaimers, Indemnification, and Fee Agreement

1. Disclaimers:
The Somali Inventors Foundation (“the Foundation”) provides support, guidance, and resources to inventors and entrepreneurs as part of its mission to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in Somalia. However, the Foundation does not guarantee the success of any project or product. All advice, assistance, and resources are offered in good faith based on the information available at the time.

2. Indemnification:
By submitting this application, the applicant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Foundation, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from or related to the applicant’s participation in any of the Foundation’s programs.

3. Fee Agreement for Successful Products:
If a project or product developed with the Foundation’s assistance achieves commercial success, the applicant agrees to contribute 25% of the net revenue to the Foundation to support future inventors.

  • Commercial success means revenue exceeding initial development costs.

  • Net revenue is defined as gross income from sales minus production and distribution costs.

4. Agreement to Terms:
By signing and submitting this application, the applicant agrees to these terms. Non-compliance may result in termination of support and legal action to recover owed fees.
